CURRENT WEEK: Weekly Challenge 1/6-1/12
Burpee Count Up Challenge
Time: around 30 minutes
Equipment: No Equipment but this is to be done at acac Downtown
5 raffle tickets for completing
BONUS 5 raffle tickets for completing with a BFB partner or a workout buddy of your choice
This one is going to be a real challenge but I know that ALL of you can do this! Remember that you will set your own intensity level so you can work as hard or as comfortably as you like!
Complete a 5 min warm-up by either walking or running the acac track
This drill will involve an increasing quantity of Burpees
Set a 12 minute timer
On your first round, you will complete: 1 lap around the track + 1 stair run (back staircase, go to the first floor, run to the third and go back to the second floor) + 1 Burpee
On your second, you will complete: 1 lap around the track + 1 stair run (back staircase, go to the first floor, run to the third and go back to the second floor) + 2 Burpees
You will repeat this process of lap around the track, stair run and an increasing number of burpees until the 12 minute timer is over. *Remember the number of burpees you finished the drill at
After the 12 minute timer, take a 2 minute break
Repeat this drill except going in descending order on burpees. For example, if you finished the first 12 minute drill at 8 burpees, you would start the second round with 8 burpees and go down from there after each lap and stair run
During the first 12 minutes, you can take as many breaks as you need.
During the second round, you can still take as many breaks as you need but you won’t finish the workout until you do a lap, stair run and 1 burpee
